Groove Bay is a friendly one-day music and arts event, celebrating all things jazzy, groovy, and fun. Held at the newly built East Kowloon Cultural Centre, it is specifically designed for families, kids, and young adults - featuring live jazz musical performances, art workshops, and food and beverage stalls.
Immerse yourself in the rich sounds of live musical performances by artists such as renowned jazz guitarist Eugene Pao, the "godfather of jazz" Ted Lo, Golden Melody Award-winning guitarist and composer Alan Kwan, harmonica sensation CY Leo, acclaimed guitarist Teriver Cheung, the energetic swing dance troupe Swing Pocket, and more.
Beyond the captivating tunes, Groove Bay also offers a lineup of interactive and engaging music workshops and experiences, led by the talented team from Project Mooon and Novation.

Each adult can bring one child aged three or under for free to Groove Bay. Please select the free ticket for the child when purchasing tickets and present the free ticket upon entry.

Jazz Society is the venue partner of East Kowloon Cultural Centre. Groove Bay is one of the “Unbox EKCC” programme of the East Kowloon Cultural Centre.
Enquiries
- General and Concessionary tickets: One admission per ticket, free-seating, re-entry is permitted.
- Family tickets: Each family ticket is valid for 2 adults and 1 child aged under 12 or below, and families must enter the venue at the same time. Free-seating. Re-entry is permitted.
- This event is only open to all ages. Children aged 12 or below are required to be accompanied by an adult.
- Some workshops and experiences are age and capacity restricted.
- Admission tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded. Reselling is prohibited.
- Audience members must follow the designated entry and exit times; changes or delays may occur.
- Workshop or experience quotas are not guaranteed, and they will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove anyone who does not comply with the rules.
- If there are any disputes, the organiser's decision shall be final.
