The light of dance and music
In the beginning, there was nothing. With the light, we can see our own reflection.
The musicians enter, and dance with their instruments, with purpose and intent.
The dancers join, as they support the musicians in their purpose and intent.
The artists create a picturesque image with a ray of infinite light, which is reflected, and refracted by the acrylic partitions, multiplying until it spills over into the audience, creating a kaleidoscope.
The kaleidoscope is neither now nor the future. It is the hope created from the past, for the future, hidden in the sound passing through the air, as the reflections and refractions reveal the things you thought you did not know, or have forgotten…
