Participate in a one-of-a-kind toy painting experience with special effects makeup artist and sculptor Wilfred Wan. The workshop will briefly introduce basic skills on 3D sculpting and painting software ZBrush, and instruct painting methods on silicone and PU plastics such as "realistic skin painting" techniques. Learn how to paint a skin texture and create a monstrous-looking Daruma toy!

About The Instructor
Wilfred Wan is a former lecturer in image design and makeup courses at the University of Hong Kong School of Professional and Continuing Education. He has experience in various fields including bridal makeup, publications, theatre, concerts, fashion shows and company events. Wilfred founded Studio W Productions in 2015 and the WFX brand in 2024, which offers professional makeup and special effects makeup courses. Currently, he is a special effects makeup consultant for various movies, TV series and commercials in which he creates special effects makeup for different characters and 1:1 sculpted props. Artists he has worked with include Andy Lau, Aaron Kwok, Nick Cheung, Chrissie Chau etc. Recently, he began using clay sculpting and digital sculpting to create 3D-printed toys.
