About The Speakers

STEP C. is an award-winning animation director, university lecturer, and illustrator. In her work, she attempts to bridge the gap between fantasy and reality to explore interpersonal relationships. Her work has been exhibited at numerous art fairs and locations worldwide, including Art Basel, Tai Kwun, and Fine Art Asia. In addition to participating in more than 100 international exhibitions, she has received over 30 awards. In 2021, her short film Depths of Night was shortlisted for Best Animated Short Film at the 58th Golden Horse Awards in Taipei.

Kafka is a Hong Kong based illustrator. After graduating from the CO1 School Of Visual Arts, he worked as a graphic designer and illustrator. In 2012, he created a giraffe character which inspired a series work based on heart-warming stories. He later set up his own illustration brand “Mr. Giraffe Workshop” and began to engage in organising exhibitions as well as different licensing activities. Kafka published his first illustration book in 2017. He now also creates designer toys and showcases his works at different toy fairs around the world.

Toballki is an illustrator and the creator of the original character Chubbie. Since her first solo exhibition about Sham Shui Po in 2021, she has been active in exhibiting her works in various cities. Apart from her own projects, she has also worked with many well-known brands and organisations, including K11 Art Mall, ZALORA, adidas, etc.
