Programme Content (Senior Primary - for local students promoting to P5 or P6 or local students aged 10-12)
In PMQ Seed 2024 KIDS IN ACTION Creative Training Class (Senior Primary) programme ,the teaching team will guide the participants using a design thinking framework . Students will encourage people to establish positive lifestyle habits. And call on everyone to be aware of the plastic issue and take action on it.
The teaching team will first lead the participants in store visits and 3D poster-making activities to quantify plastic usage and understand the current environmental problems posed by plastic. This will encourage the participants to develop ideas for promoting plastic-free living.
The participants will work in 6-person groups to put their ideas into practice, such as designing a "Plastic-Free Action" campaign. This will involve interacting with the community and taking action to promote ways of caring for our home and planet.
The first day of the programme will focus on introducing and understanding the problem. The second day will be for conceiving and starting to implement ideas. On the third day, participants will share their creative process after the action implementation, to deepen their learning outcomes.
*The programme content is subjected to change, no further notice will be given if changes are made.
