Year 2020 marks the 250th anniversary of the birth of one of classical music’s giants, Ludwig van Beethoven. In this pair of concerts conductor Jason Lai will take a look at some of his best known masterpieces and will explore recurring themes such as victory over adversity and symphonic grandiosity in Beethoven’s extraordinary output.
