Hong Kong Sinfonietta & French May Arts Festival—Cellomania: Aurélien Pascal Plays Prokofiev

Having taken the French classical music scene and beyond by storm in recent years, cellist Aurélien Pascal was a prizewinner at the Queen Elisabeth and Emanuel Feuermann competitions, and was named “Révélation Soliste Instrumental” at the 2023 Victoires de la Musique Classique. In this visit to Hong Kong, he will join hands with Hong Kong Sinfonietta and conductor Chuang Tung-chieh to present Prokofiev’s devilishly virtuosic and enthralling Sinfonia Concertante, originally dedicated to the legendary Mstislav Rostropovich.
