French cellist Aurélien Pascal is attracting international attention for his "unparalleled virtuosity and intuitive musicality" (The Strad). He has made appearances with major orchestras throughout Europe, notably with the Moscow Tchaikovsky Orchestra, the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie Saarbrücken, the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra.
Aurélien Pascal will return to collaborate with Hong Kong Sinfonietta in November, performing Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto No 1 under the baton of Principal Guest Conductor Christoph Poppen. Programme also includes Ruy Blas Overture by Mendelssohn and Beethoven’s Symphony No 5.
