Prior to embarking on a tour to the Mainland, Long Yu leads the HK Phil in Dvořák’s From the New World symphony. Young violin wunderkind Paloma So performs the Butterfly Lovers, and the concert will be opened by renowned Chinese cellist Jian Wang with a rendition of Tchaikovsky’s Rococo Variations.
