The Hong Kong Arts Centre Late Night Series 2024 - Art X will be held on April 13th, featuring the exhibition Yokai Parade: Supernatural Monsters from Japan by Pao Galleries. With a focus on yokai, this event offers a series of nighttime art experiences to the public, providing a multidimensional understanding of yokai culture. The program includes two screenings of the film "Wicked Cities" followed by post-screening discussions, a LARP game, and three workshops: Yokai Mini Lantern Workshop, Yokai Wagashi Workshop, and Yokai Neonlight Workshop.

What is the favorite dessert of yokai? Can you guess if it's the colorful wagashi? In our Wagashi Workshop, we will explore the art of Japanese traditional handcrafted sweets, including filling and coloring the wagashi, and guidance on traditional tools. Our instructor will lead you in creating three different flavors of yokai-inspired wagashi together!
