One-Key-Return is a sound object performative exhibition that immerses audiences in the vibrant pulse of Hong Kong's city life. Central to this experience is the sound objects created by artist Cheuk Wing Nam, which draw from real-time bus arrival data and seamlessly blend technology with artistic expression to reflect the city's essence. Each sound object is meticulously crafted using everyday items, big data analytics, electronic components, and computer coding to produce a multi-sensory experience that resonates with the dynamic energy of the city.
During the exhibition, multiple sound objects will be thoughtfully arranged in the stage environment to encourage audience exploration. As a performative exhibition, One-Key-Return promotes audience interaction. Visitors are encouraged to move freely around the stage, and are welcome to join or leave the experience at any time. This fluidity ensures a personalized encounter with the art, making each visit unique.
